-WWE is holding a press conference at Staples Center in Los Angeles this afternoon. They are going to discuss the million dollar giveaway and have teased that there will be another announcement. The show starts at 2 p.m. (CT) and I'll be covering it here on the site for those of you who can't follow the WWE.com stream.
-Cousin Sal vs. Santino Marella will be taped at the Smackdown/ECW tapings tonight at Staples Center. I know you can't wait.
-WWE drew a 2.2 overnight rating for Smackdown on Friday, which is down from the 2.3 rating the show drew last week. Maybe Vince can give away another million dollars on Smackdown.
-In case you missed it yesterday, John Cena and Michelle McCool are scheduled to appear on Tuesday's "Best Damn Sports Show Period." The show airs on Fox Sports Network. Check your local listings for air times, though, as baseball and other regional sports coverage tends to move "Best Damn" to some odd hours.
-Awesome Kong is scheduled to appear on the Champions With Attitudes event on June 28 in Hendersonville, N.C. For more information, visit CWA.com. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
