-Tonight is the "season premiere" WWE Raw. Whatever the hell that means. The show takes place in Cincinnati, Oh. and is hosted by NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, and will feature the Raw Roulette gimmick. The television main event of tonight's show is John Cena vs. Randy Orton. Check back at 8:00 p.m. CT tonight for Dot Net live coverage of the show.

-WWE is clearly loading up the show to compete with tonight's ESPN Monday Night Football doubleheader. Getting Ochocinco to host is a coup, because there will be so many people watching football tonight, and WWE has given NFL fans a reason to check out Raw. Although the Bengals were trounced by the Patriots on Sunday, Ocho was one of the few bright spots for Cincy, so he should get a hero's welcome from his hometown fans.

-WWE Champion Sheamus is/was scheduled to appear on the FOX affiliate's morning show today. Dot Net reader Jeremy Moses notes that WXIX-19 advertised him over the weekend on their Twitter page.

-Big Show appeared on Sky Sports News last week to promote Knucklehead. He also discussed his size, a potential boxing career, and said the UK citizens have a better sense of humor than Americans, potentially making his movie more successful overseas. "He just did a 10 minute interview just chatting," wrote Dot Net reader Aaron Potter. "A really nice fella, as many will know. He said he appreciates the fan base the UK offers, and the WWE loves coming and doing shows in arenas such as MEN, O2 & Echo."

-Florida Championship Wrestling owner Steve Keirn of Fabulous One's fame celebrated his turned 59 on Friday. He was born on September 10, 1951.

-Road Warrior Hawk (a/k/a Mike Hegstrand) would have celebrated his 53rd birthday. He was born on September 12, 1957 and died on Oct. 19, 2003 due to an apparent heart attack.

-The following matches are advertised for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Wayne Bloom vs. Baron Von Raschke, The Trooper vs. Mike Enos, Killer and Psycho vs. The Hangmen vs. Johnny Stewart and Unknown Soldier vs. Tommy Jammer and Paul Diamond in an eight-man elimination tag match.
