-The third season of WWE NXT begins tonight. I believe the show will be taped tonight prior to WWE Smackdown and will not air live. The hook for tonight's show is tuning in to see who will replace Aloisia as the rookie mentored by Vickie Guerrero.

I've had a few readers tell me they think it's a great way to create interest in the show. Even if the payoff is great, I don't get the feeling that there's a ton of interest going into the show regarding the identity of the final entrant. Furthermore, they pulled the one rookie that fans were actually buzzing about from the lineup. Nevertheless, Rich Twilling will be covering the show live tonight beginning at 9:00 p.m. CT as the show airs on Syfy.

-Former WWE Diva Molly Holly (a/k/a Nora Greenwald) turns 33 today. She was born on Sept. 7, 1977. Molly revealed recently stated that she was a 32 year-old virgin who didn't want to be a 33 year-old virgin. She married Geno Benshoof, who is the brother of Olympic bobsled team member Tony Benshoof, on July 22 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

-Former WWE wrestler Colin Delaney is celebrating his 24th birthday. He was born on Sept. 7, 1986. Delaney is still active on the indy scene and was working Chikara shows at last check.

-The AWA television show will not air on ESPN Classic tonight.
