-I hope everyone is enjoying the Labor Day holiday. I will be posting throughout the day, albeit more sporadically than usual in between holiday plans. I will be covering WWE Raw live tonight as it airs on USA Network, so stop back and watch along with me. Rich Twilling has the holiday off, but will return on Tuesday for WWE NXT live coverage.

-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Washington, D.C. at the Verizon Center. The advertised matches on the arena website are Randy Orton vs. Sheamus, and John Cena vs. Wade Barrett. There's no word yet whether either one of those matches will air on television.

-We are looking for correspondents who are attending tonight's WWE Raw and TNA Impact tapings. If you are going to either show and can help us with a report, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The first of three nights of TNA Impact tapings take place tonight in Orlando, Fla. The company has yet to announce any matches for tonight's taping. Keep in mind that tonight's taping will not air on Thursday. TNA Impact is preempted this week and will return on September 16.

-Former TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong (a/k/a Kia Stevens) turned 33 on Saturday. She was born on Sept. 4, 1977.

-Newly signed WWE wrestler Austin Creed (a/k/a Consequences Creed) celebrated his 24th birthday on Saturday. He was born on Sept. 4, 1986. Creed is now known as "Xavier Woods" in Florida Championship Wrestling.

-WWE Diva Jillian Hall is celebrating her 30th birthday today. She was born on Sept. 6, 1980.

-WWE Hall of Famer Wendi Richter turns 49 today. She was born on Sept. 6, 1961.

-The AWA television show will not air on ESPN Classic tonight.
