-WWE Raw takes place tonight in San Antonio, Tex. at the AT&T Center. Shawn Michaels lives in the area. They have not dropped any hints that he will appear on the show, but it will be interesting to find out whether he visits backstage. There are no matches advertised for tonight's show.
-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Raw show, which will feature a live broadcast and the taping for next week's Raw show since the crew will be heading overseas. If you are going to the show and can help with reports on the taping for next week's Raw, WWE Superstars, and any dark matches, please contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-The TNA Impact tapings for Thursday's show take place tonight in Orlando, Fla. The plan at last check was to continue to focus on the main TNA feuds and mix in some hype for the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view. In other words, they will not be focussing exclusively on the former ECW wrestlers. We are looking for correspondents who are attending the taping. If you can help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-I will appear on the Monday Night Mayhem show tonight around 6:10 p.m. CT along with Big Mosh, Jimmy Noonan, and Todd Vincent. For information on how to listen to the show live, head over to MondayNightMayhem.com.
-Correction: ROH wrestler Mike Sydal, who was injured over the weekend, is actually the older brother of WWE star Evan Bourne. I mistakenly listed Mike as the younger brother over the weekend.
-Former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson turned 35 on Saturday. She was born on July 24, 1975.
-Former World Class and WCW wrestler Al Perez celebrated his 50th birthday on Friday. He was born on July 23, 1960.
-ROH wrestler Roderick Strong turns 27 today. He was born on July 26, 1983.
-Former NWA Champion Tommy Rich is celebrating his 54th birthday today. He was born on July 26, 1956.
-The following matches are advertised for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: John Paul and Ricky Rice vs. Tony Leone and Brian Costello, The Guerrero Brothers vs. Deaton and Mike Somani, Jerry Lawler vs. Curtis for the AWA Title, Paul Diamond vs. Curtis, Teijo Khan vs. Baron Von Raschke.
