WWE Smackdown and ECW tapings, TNA taping Impact, update on RVD's wife, Teddy Hart, AWA on ESPN match listings

-WWE Smackdown and ECW will be taped tonight Atlantic City, N.J. WWE announced Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neeley in a handicap match as the ECW main event. However, no matches have been announced for Smackdown. I'm looking forward to seeing which wrestler is next in line for a program with Undertaker, assuming they don't try to get a third month out of his storyline with Edge.
-TNA will be taping a second night of television tonight in Orlando, Fla. I'm still looking for a regular TNA tapings correspondent so please let me know if you attend the shows and are interested in helping out.
-Rob Van Dam's wife Sonya is doing well while recovering from colon cancer surgery last week, according WrestlingObserver.com.
-Poll Results: 31 percent of Dot Net voters pegged the four-way main event as the highlight of Backlash. Shawn Michaels vs. Batista got 19 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, Undertaker vs. Edge, and Matt Hardy vs. MVP both drew 18 percent of the vote.
-In case you missed it yesterday, WWE released Dave Taylor and Balls Mahoney. There's plenty of speculation about other cuts that could be in the works, but I'm going to avoid repeating rumored names until they become official. I don't want to sound holier than thou, but it is a stressful time for many WWE performers right now and there's no point in adding to their stress.
-There are numerous online reports that WWE hired Al Barone, the wrestler who Santino Marella wants to play his bodyguard. I have been unable to confirm this information independently.
-Dominick Mayer of The Depaulia website wrote a story about five popular misconceptions about pro wrestling. Check it out at TheDepaulia.com.
-Teddy Hart vs. Jack Evans in the second match of their best-of-five series is scheduled to take place on the Pro Wrestling Syndicate show in Belleville, N.J. on May 2. Justin Credible and Jim Powers are also scheduled to appear on the show. For more information, visit ProWrestlingSyndicate.com.
-The following matches are scheduled for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Cactus Jack and Gary Young vs. Billy Joe Travis and Rick Steiner, Mike Enos vs. Ali Khan, Jerry Lawler vs. Kerry Von Erich, Ron Garvin squash match, Rock-n-Roll Express vs. Kerry Von Erich and Hangman (huh?), and Soldat Ustinov vs. Sgt. Slaughter.
