Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle headlines TNA Impact, Great Khali heading home, AWA match listing featuring a bunch of guys who rarely worked there
By Jason Powell Apr 24, 2008 - 08:56 AM

-TNA is advertising the following matches and events for tonight's Impact on Spike TV: Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA Title, Jim Cornette addresses TNA Tag Title situation, the latest in the Booker T and Sting saga. I'm not crazy about the idea of giving away a pay-per-view main event rematch two weeks later, but I'm definitely looking forward to the match. It's been described to me as a traditional pro wrestling match and everyone I've talked to enjoyed it more than the MMA-style match they had at the pay-per-view.

-Great Khali will be returning home to India by the end of the month, according to a story posted at Merinews.com. "In this year, Khali got everything...name, fame and money," reads the story. "After his success, will he live with the villagers as he lived? Will he continue his Punjab police job? Khali can give answers to these questions only after his return to India, so just wait till Khali comes." To read the full story, visit Merinews.com.

-In case you missed it yesterday, the latest Dot Net Podcast features my comments on the Michael Hayes situation and why this issue should have been addressed a long time ago.

Today's Poll: Which television match are you most looking forward to. I'm not posting the link. Just turn your head slightly to the right and make your pick. Vote or die, MF'er!

-The UK Sun has apparently been having technical problems with the "Heyman Hustle" this week, as only the first 36 seconds airs before it cuts out. Oddly enough, that didn't stop the Sun from issuing a press release to hype the Hustle.

-I have no idea what Kaiju Big Battel is even after reading the description on their website, but Chris Hero will taking part in one on June 1 in Philadelphia, Pa. Let me know if you figure out what it's all about after visiting Kaiju.com.

-UCW Wrestling is scheduled for Saturday night in Shady Hills, Fla. at the VFW Post.

-Tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic lineup is as follows: Iceman King Parsons vs. Brickhouse Brown, Eric Embry vs. Jeff Jarrett, Samoan Swat Team vs. Michael Hayes and Steve Cox.
