More on JBL's "sexual enhancing" energy drink, wrestler playing football, Danny Davis, Sabu, AWA match listing with Mick Foley

-JBL wrote an editorial in response to Keith Olbermann naming him the "Worst Person of the Week" on his MSNBC show. "What I have to put in perspective is that more people will read this article than watch him on MSNBC," JBL writes. "So, Keith, I am actually doing you a favor by writing about you." JBL goes on to boast about working three jobs "so I can support my family and me" and some of his charitable work. To read the full article, visit WWE.com.
-Thanks to all the readers who informed me that JBL has been marketing Mamajuana as a sexual stimulant all along. I can't believe I missed out on that when he first started making his pitch. I was also told that he appeared on the Opie and Anthony satellite radio show a while back and they tested it out on sidekick Sam. Unfortunately, Grandpa Layfield's miracle boner potion that consists of rub, tree bark, and herbs didn't produce the expected results.
-By the way, I want local readers to know that the bark that is suddenly missing from the trees in front of my house is purely coincidental.
-Poll Results: Dot Net Readers didn't care for the King of the Ring tournament. 61 percent of the voters who took part in our poll said they didn't care for the tournament. 24 percent said it was okay, and only 16 percent said they enjoyed it.
-I am very curious to see what the ratings for ECW on Sci-Fi turn out to be. There was more buzz regarding last week's Mike Adamle debut than any ECW show in recent memory, so I'm curious to see if all the talk about how awful he was helped or hurt the show in any way.

-Indy wrestler Nate "Spyder" Webb made the Indianapolis Mustangs semi-pro football team. [Thanks to Keith Lipinski]
-WWE's Howard Finkel has been added to the Fan Slam Wrestling Convention in Totowa, N.J. Other wrestling personalities who are being advertised for the convention are Nick Dinsmore (a/k/a Eugene), Scotty Too Hotty, Al Snow, Tomko, Shawn Daivari, and John Cena Sr. For more information, visit FanSlamWrestling.com.
-Sabu and Danny Davis are scheduled to appear at the World Wrestling Alliance shows in Massachusetts during the weekend of May 16-17. For more information, visit WWAentertainment.net. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
-The following matches are scheduled for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: RPMs and Cactus Jack vs. The Guerreros, Ron Garvin vs. Greg Gagne, Rock-n-Roll Express vs. Stud Stable, Sgt. Slaughter vs. Col. DeBeers.
