-Happy St. Patrick's Day. As has become March 17 tradition, I'm wearing a Wild shirt since I don't have a anything other green shirts in my closet. You know, like you care. Anyway, have a great time and line up a sober cab if you intend to party it up tonight. I'll be knocking drinks back at my favorite local watering hole tonight and my girlfriend is kind enough to drive me there and back. Well, she claims she'll pick me up tonight. I guess we'll find out. Don't be surprised if I call one of you for a ride and/or a spot on your couch.
-Jeff Hardy will be back in North Carolina court today for the next stage in his defense against drug trafficking and other charges. The case will be held in Superior Court in Moore County, N.C. He is facing a total of five felony charges after being indicted in January.
-For those who missed it last night, WWE SummerSlam tickets go on sale Saturday morning. The show will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
-Dot Net Members will be listening to the first part of the Q&A Audio. I will be answering their pro wrestling questions on Money in the Bank, WrestleMania 26, Bret Hart as WWE Raw general manager, Edge as a babyface, and more. Plus, we usually have about 10-15 minutes of non-wrestling fun at the end of each show. You can access all Dot Net Audio for only $5 per month via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.
-In a dark match held prior to the WWE NXT show in Los Angeles last night, Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang defeated Vance Archer and Tyler Reks. [Thanks to Dot Net readers Carlos Hurtado and C.J. Tuttle]
-Dot Net contributor Marvin Hermanstyne offered the following details regarding WWE Superstars and WGN-9 in Chicago. "WGN Chicago scrapped Superstars weeks ago. Its only exclusively on WGN America. If readers have DirectTV or Dish Network
they should still get it. WGN Chicago wants to keep all their sports exclusive to Cubs, White Sox and the Bulls. The ratings and the preemptions are the reason it was scrapped, as I understand it.
-Dot Net reader Cody Young passed along the following note: I went to Booker Ts PWA show and Boogeyman was the special guest. He didnt wrestle a match but he did a run in and $20 pics after the show. I asked him what happened to WWE and he said nothing happened that he just wanted to take some time off and he would be back.Boogey was actually one of the nicest wrestlers Ive met. And hes also a very religious guy. I asked him advice ion becoming a wrestler and he gave me some very good advice but told me to put God first. He also said he had no interest in TNA whatsoever. Turns out that Sharmell is pregnant with twins and she said Booker is not looking to join WWE or TNA at all.
-Reality stars Matt Riviera will face Dexter Hardaway from "The Jerry Springer Show" at the Traditional Championship Wrestling event on Apr. 10 in Fort Smith, Ark. For more information on the show, check out TraditionalWrestling.net. [Thanks to Shannon Rose]
