WWE kicks off new era in live events (correspondents needed), TNA Slammiversary weekend, Evolve 21 and 22 in Florida, ROH in San Antonio with tornado fundraiser, Vampiro note

-The TNA Slammiversary XI pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday in Boston, Massachusetts. The main event feature Bully Ray defending the TNA Title against Sting in a No Holds Barred match. If Sting loses, he will not be allowed to challenge for the TNA Title ever again. Join me for live coverage of TNA Slammiversary as the show airs on Sunday night beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-TNA is also holding a fan fest event on Saturday in Boston. If you attend the fan fest, you are encouraged to send a report on your experience to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-We are looking for correspondents for the WWE, Evolve, and Ring of Honor weekend live events. If you are attending one of the shows listed below and want to help, send your report (or basic results) to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The WWE live events are now branded as "WWE Live" rather than Raw and Smackdown house shows.

-WWE is in Glens Falls, New York at the Glens Falls Civic Center tonight with the following advertised matches: John Cena vs. Ryback in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Championship. Sheamus vs. Mark Henry is also advertised. Sheamus is listed on the WWE roster page, but Henry is sidelined.

-WWE is in Bethlehem, Pa. at Stabler Arena on Saturday with Randy Orton, Kane, and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield in a six-man tag advertised as the main event. Dolph Ziggler is advertised by WWE for this event.

-WWE is in Manchester, N.H. at Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday with the following advertised matches: John Cena vs. Ryback in a tables match for the WWE Championship, and Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus for the Intercontinental Title.

-WWE is in Augusta, Maine at the Augusta Civic Center on Sunday. The talent pool for the A shows are John Cena, Ryback, Fandango, Chris Jericho, Sheamus, R-Truth, Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, Cameron, Naomi, and The Bella Twins.

-WWE is in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. at the Mid Hudson Civic Center on Sunday. The "B" shows feature the following talent pool: Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Big E Langston, Daniel Bryan, Kaitlyn, and A.J. Lee.

-Evolve 21 and 22 will be broadcast on iPPV from Florida this weekend. Evolve 21 takes place on Saturday in Jacksonville with AR Fox vs. EITA as the top advertised match. Evolve 22 takes place on Sunday in Ybor City, Florida at The Orpheum with Johnny Gargano vs. Samuray Del Sol for the Open the Freedom Gate Championship as the featured match. Both events will be available via iPPV at WWNLive.com.

-Ring of Honor is in San Antonio, Texas at Shrine Auditorium on Saturday with Jay Briscoe vs. Davey Richards for the ROH Title in the main event. The company is also holding an autograph signing to help raise funds for tornado relief in Oklahoma. Richards announced that he will be donating his autograph money to the Red Cross for disaster relief, and ROH will be matching his donation.

-Pro wrestler Vampiro (a/k/a Ian Hodgkinson) is 46 today. He was born on May 31, 1967.
