-The WWE Raw crew is in Hermosillo, Mexico today for a live event. John Cena, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, C.M. Punk, and Sin Cara are among the advertised wrestlers. I don't think the Sin Cara listing is dated, as all of the other advertised talent is from the post-draft Raw brand.

-KDWB radio personalities Crisco and Heavy D, and WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal are hosting weekly podcasts via the KFAN website. I'm making 5-10 minute appearances to discuss the latest news, and the guys go roughly an hour. They interviewed Sean "X-Pac" Waltman and former AWA wrestler and promoter Greg Gagne on Tuesday's podcast, which you can listen to at KFAN.com.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to Chris Shore's Q&A audio show later today. The topics include The Corre, John Morrison, an ROH online show, R-Truth, Brodus Clay, Kharma, C.M. Punk, and more. You can listen to the show on the ad-free version of the site by signing up now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper has been added to the NWA Legends Atlanta Fanfest event. Piper will appear on August 5-6. He will pose for "Dog Collar" photos with Greg Valentine using the props from their actual 1983 Starcade Classic. Plus, Piper will be wearing his traditional Piper's Pit gear for photos.

The NWA Legends event will also feature appearances by Tully Blanchard, Ole Anderson, The Assassin, Mr. Wrestling II, Ted DiBiase, David Schultz, Tony Atlas, Dory Funk, Tommy Rich, Harley Race, Stan Hansen, Teddy Long, Ron Garvin, Ron Simmons, Terry Funk, and many more. For more information on the event, check out NWALegends.com.

-WWE backstage worker Billy Kidman (a/k/a Peter Gruner) is celebrating his 37th birthday. He was born on May 11, 1974. At last check, Kidman was responsible for the timing of WWE television shows. It's a job he took over when Gerald Brisco suffered a stroke in June 2009.

-ROH and SHIMMER regular Daizee Haze turns 28 today. She was born on May 11, 1983.

-Former pro wrestler Paul Diamond is celebrating his 50th birthday. He was born on May 11, 1961. He worked with Pat Tanaka as in Badd Company in the AWA, and the duo also teamed WWE as the Orient Express. He also worked in WWE as the Max Moon character.

-The AWA airs on ESPN Classic tonight at 11:00 p.m. CT. Once again, there are no matches listed for the show. They go through some stretches without listing matches, but it usually only lasts a week or so.
