-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in Wichita, Kansas at Intrust Bank Arena. The only advertised segment is Chris Jericho hosting The Highlight Reel with guests Randy Orton and Kane. The advertised talent pool for tonight's taping includes Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Zeb Colter, Big E Langston, and A.J. Lee.

-WWE wrestler Zack Ryder (a/k/a Matthew Cardona) is 28 today. He was born on May 14, 1985. He has worked for WWE since signing a developmental contract in February 2006.

-Leon White, who wrestles as Vader, is 58 today. He was born on May 14, 1955. He made appearances on WWE television last year as one of many veterans to beat up Heath Slater.

-Robert Fuller (a/k/a Robert Welch) is 62 today. He was born on May 14, 1951. In addition to a successful in-ring career, Fuller went on to manage as Col. Robert Parker. He also had a brief stint in WWE as Tennessee Lee, the manager of Jeff Jarrett.

-Tommy Rogers (a/k/a Thomas Couch) is 52 today. He was born on May 14, 1961. Rogers teamed with Bobby Fulton as The Fantastics. The duo had some very memorable matches with The Midnight Express.

-Late pro wrestler Steve "Dr. Death" Williams was born on this date in 1960. Williams died on December 29, 2009 at age 49 following a battle with throat cancer. Williams was an All-American football player at the University of Oklahoma and also competed on the wrestling team.

-Late pro wrestler Scott Irwin was born on this date in 1952. He died at age 35 due to a brain tumor. He and his brother Bill Irwin were best known for working as The Long Riders and the masked Super Destroyers tag teams. His brother Bill also wrestled as The Goon in WWE.

-The following matches are listed for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Buddy Rose vs. Hernandez, Col. DeBeers vs. B. Anderson, The Midnight Rockers vs. Knight and DeHaas, Brad Rheingans and Masked Murauder vs. Boris Zhukov and The Barbarian vs. Scott Hall and Curt Henning for the AWA Tag Titles,
