-The WWE Smackdown taping will be held tonight in Tampa, Florida at Tampa Bay Times Forum. The advertised talent pool for tonight's Smackdown taping are John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, Damien Sandow, The Shield, Triple H, The Wyatt Family, Fandango, Wade Barrett, and Kaitlyn.

-The dark main events advertised for tonight's Smackdown taping are John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Hvt. Championship, and Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.

-WWE Hall of Famer Paul Orndorff is 64 today. He was born on October 29, 1949. Orndorff was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 by his on-again, off-again manager Bobby Heenan.

-Happy belated birthday to Les Thatcher, who turned 73 on Monday. Thatcher continues to give seminars and is involved in the Wrestling Cares Association.

-Platinum Championship Wrestling is running a Halloween show on Thursday in Porterdale, Georgia at the Main Event (2001 Main Street) with the following advertised lineup: Chip Day vs. Supernatural for the PCW Championship, Marko Polo vs. De La Vega, Johnny Danger Time segment. The admission price is just $5 and kids 15 and under who are in costume will get in free.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
