-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in San Diego, California at Valley View Casino. The usual Smackdown wrestlers are advertised, meaning no Rock, C.M. Punk, or John Cena. In fact, Dolph Ziggler is not advertised either. Surprisingly, Rey Mysterio is not advertised for his hometown show, though we can't rule out a surprise appearance.

-The hype for Smackdown is focussed on Booker T making an announcement regarding the future of the World Hvt. Championship. It was tied into John Cena choosing to challenge for the WWE Championship, meaning Booker will likely announce how the WrestleMania 29 challenger will be determined. We are looking for correspondents for tonight's event in San Diego. If you are going to the show and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members are listening to my 60-minute audio review of Monday's WWE Raw television show, as well as the 99-minute audio review of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view that Chris Shore and I recorded on Sunday night. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-WWE will also be taping the Main Event television show at tonight's Smackdown taping. The show will feature the beginning of the Intercontinental Cup. They didn't share any details about the format on Raw aside from saying that it would determine the No. 1 contender to the Intercontinental Title.

-Kid Kash has been added to the Hardcore Roadtrip events on March 2 in London, Ontario. Kash is replacing Stevie Richards, who cancelled his date. The Blue Meanie previously cancelled and was replaced by Al Snow. Kash will take the place of Richards in the eight-man tournament that includes C.W. Anderson, Gary Wolf, Axl Rotten, Vito Lograsso, Angel, Jason Knight, and one additional wrestler. The other advertised talent includes 2 Cold Scorpio, Sabu, Devon, Scott Steiner, Sandman, Raven, Christian York, and Joey Ryan. For more information about the shows, visit Hardcoreroadtrip.ca.

-Former WWE wrestler Bob Holly (a/k/a Robert Howard) is 50 today. He was born on January 29, 1963.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
