Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, The Shield, and Money in the Bank winners Randy Orton and Damien Sandow are among the notable wrestlers advertised for the taping. -Dot Net Members are listening to my 56-minute audio review of WWE Raw, and the 84-minute Money in the Bank audio review that Chris Shore and I recorded on Sunday night. If you enjoy our All Access audio, help support Dot Net by signing up for membership to the ad-free version of the website via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-The dark main event for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping is Sheamus, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns in a six-man tag match.

-Bobby Lashley (a/k/a Franklin Roberto Lashley) is 37 today. He was born on July 16, 1976. Lashley won two MMA fights in June. He defeated Kevin Asplund by submission at Titan FC 25 on June 7, then defeated Matthew Larson by submission on June 29 at GWC: The British Invasion event.

-The late Terry Gordy of The Fabulous Freebirds fame died on this date in 2001. His death at age 40 was attributed to a heart attack caused by a blood clot. Gordy's son Ray worked for WWE as Jesse/Slam Master J. I remain hopeful that this will be the year that WWE inducts The Freebirds into the WWE Hall of Fame.

-Bob Orton, Sr. died on this date in 2006 at age 76 after suffering a series of heart attacks. THe late pro wrestler is the father of Bob Orton, Jr. and Barry O of WWE fame, and he also has a daughter Rhonda. He is the grandfather of WWE star Randy Orton.
