-The WWE Smackdown taping will be held tonight in Philadelphia, Pa. at Wells Fargo Center. WWE is advertising WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley for the show. WWE is also advertising John Cena, C.M. Punk, Big Show, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, The Wyatt Family, and The Shield.

-Prowrestling.net Members are listening to the 90-minute interview with Matt Morgan, who made a major announcement regarding his future in the pro wrestling industry. We also spoke about his past run in TNA Wrestling, becoming a father any day now, why he left TNA, whether his past departure was a work or legitimate, and much more.

-Chavo Guerrero, Sr. is 65 today. Chavo Classic was born on January 7, 1949.

-Former ECW wrestler C.W. Anderson (a/k/a Chris Wright) is 43 today. He was born on January 7, 1971. Anderson continues to wrestle independently and recently appeared on the WrestleCade event in November when he lost an I Quit match with Tommy Dreamer.

-The late Gary Albright died on January 7, 2000 at age 36. He was working a World Xtreme Wrestling event in Hazleton, Pennsylvania when he collapsed in the ring. He died a short time later due to a heart attack.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
