-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Target Center. Jake Barnett and I will both be in attendance at tonight's taping. I will be relaying live updates to Chris Shore, so join him for live coverage of the taping this evening.

-WWE is advertising a pair of dark main events for tonight's Smackdown taping - Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Rob Van Dam, Big Show, and Mark Henry vs. The Shield in a six-man tag match. Keep in mind that Henry suffered an injury on Friday and there's no word yet as to whether he will be able to appear at the taping.

-TNA X Division Champion T.J. Perkins (a/k/a Teddy James Perkins) is 29 today. He was born on September 3, 1984. Perkins debuted in January 1999 at age 14. He actually began training at age 13 at a lucha school in Los Angeles, according to his Wikipedia page. He worked as both Manik, Suicide, and Puma in TNA in addition to using his own name.

-ROH personality "Brutal" Bob Evans is 41 today. He was born on September 3, 1972.

-NWA Florida Underground Wrestling held an event on Saturday in Tampa Bay, Florida at the Sports Center with the following results: Gus Money beat Joey Epix, JB Cool defeated Wayne Van Dyke, MDK and Ushaka (w/Sir Jay Jon) defeated Mitch Mitchell and Jeff Bloom, Angel Santos over Q.T. Marshall, Tokyo Monster Kahagas defeated Leo Gold to retain the NWA North American Title, Matt Morgan defeated Kenneth Cameron, Lince Dorado and Mercedes Justine defeated Jesus DeLeon and La Rosa Negra, Jay Lethal defeated Maxwell Chicago, Jesse Sorensen and Nick Fame beat J.D. Maverick and James Alexander by DQ, Jim Neidhart and Bruce Santee defeated Kennedy Kendrick and Deimos (w/Carney, Ron Niemi), The Grease (w/Sleazy) defeated Michael Tarver to win the NWA FUW Championship. -ESPN Classic is airing a block of Global Supercard Wrestling tonight from 7:00 p.m. CT to 11:00 p.m. CT. There are no details regarding the talent who appear on these shows.
