-The WWE Smackdown taping will be held tonight in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at BMO Harris Bank Center. The advertised television main event is Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship. The advertised talent pool for tonight's show is Triple H, Randy Orton, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, The Shield, Rob Van Dam, Damien Sandow, Christian, Big E Langston, and A.J. Lee.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping in Milwaukee and Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television event in Little Rock, Arkansas. -The late Mark "Bison" Smith was born on this date in 1973. Smith trained at the All Japan dojo in California and debuted in 1998. He died on November 22, 2011 in Puerto Rico due to heart complications.

-The following matches took place at the SWF Wrestling "Spitshine" benefit in Tullahoma, Tennessee: Bobby Lowe won battle royal, Jeremiah Plunkett defeated Cody Morton, Larry Cooter and John Wayne Murdoch defeated Yukon Jack and Ron Davis, Dangerous Doug Harrison defeated Tracy Smothers, Shane Rhodes defeated Mike Hoodrich, Steve Morton and Bobby Lowe over Shane Morton and Phil White, Yukon Jack beat "Chaos" Maxx Carnage to win the ESWF Heavyweight Title, Psycho Medic, Misty Heat and Mark Dunnavant defeated Jeremiah Plunkett, Cha Z Pelosi and Brittany Love. -SWF Wrestling will be holding a benefit for Gypsy Joe on October 13 at Big T Arena in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

-A block of Global Supercard Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic tonight from 8:00 p.m. CT until 5:00 a.m. CT. There is no information listed about these shows.
