-The WWE Smackdown taping for Friday's television show takes place today in London, England at the O2 Arena. The television main event is Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger in a No DQ match.

-Undertaker is advertised for the Smackdown taping. He was originally advertised for Smackdown only. It remains to be seen whether he will appear on the actual television show or if this is simply a dark segment. Advertising for the show lists Taker teaming with Randy Orton and Sheamus to face The Shield. The match is listed as a "London exclusive" so it is likely the dark main event.

-We are looking for correspondents for the WWE Smackdown taping in London, England, as well as Thursday's TNA Impact television event in Indiana, Pennsylvania. If you are going to any of those shows and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The following wrestlers are advertised for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping: Undertaker, Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Big Show, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Wade Barrett, Santino Marella, Fandango, and Natalya.

-The WWE Raw crew is in Nottingham, England at Nottingham Capital FM Arena. The show will be held at the same time as the Smackdown taping, so the following wrestlers advertised for the Raw show are unlikely to appear at Smackdown: John Cena, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Kane, R-Truth, Antonio Cesaro, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, A.J. Lee, and Kaitlyn.

-Dot Net Members are listening to my 53-minute audio review of Monday's WWE Raw television show. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page. Recent audio interviews include former WWE creative team member Court Bauer, Matt Hardy, Justin Credible, and Les Thatcher. Plus, the members listen to roughly six hours of exclusive audio content each week.

-Late pro wrestling legend Terry Gordy was born on this date in 1961. He died on July 16, 2001. Gordy was the heavy for the great Fabulous Freebirds trio that included Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts. Gordy died of a heart attack caused by a blood clot at the age of 40 on July 16, 2001. Gordy's son Ray wrestled in WWE as Jesse and Slam Master J. The Freebirds are long overdue for WWE Hall of Fame entry as far as I am concerned.

-WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas (a/k/a Anthony White) is 69 today. He was born on April 23, 1944.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
