-The WWE Smackdown tapings take place tonight in Knoxville, Tennessee at Thompson-Bolling Arena. The advertised main event for Friday's television show is Randy Orton and Sheamus vs. Big Show and Mark Henry in a tag team match.

-WWE Raw authority figure Vickie Guerrero is 45 today. She was born on April 16, 1968.

-Former WWE wrestler Paul London is 33 today. He was born on April 16, 1980.

-Oakland Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick continues to use Daniel Bryan's theme song when he comes to the plate. Dot Net reader Darren Persicke notes that the Detroit Tigers broadcast team spoke about Reddick, his beard, and his little wrestling buddy when the teams played on Friday night.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
