-The WWE Smackdown tapings take place tonight in Indianapolis, Indiana at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Vince McMahon will appear on the show to introduce the new general manager of the brand. My best guess? They didn't set it up as someone who has never served in that capacity, so I'm going with either John Laurinaitis or Teddy Long returning to the blue brnad.

-We are looking for correspondents who are attending the taping tonight in Indianapolis. If you are going to the show and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-The New York Post ran a preview of the WWE 13 video game. The feature includes screen caps from the game and goes into detail about the game enhancements. The game will be released on October 30 for PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. You can read the story at NYPost.com/p/blogs/gamereport/wwe_preview_y4H5TB69jQhrQMdOucZOMP.

-TNA wrestler Kid Kash (a/k/a David Cash) is 43 today. He was born on July 31, 1969. Kash appeared on television last week and appeared to be forming a tag team with Gunner. It remains to be seen whether they are a long term tag team or just a makeshift team that will put over the new team of Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Hernandez.

-Several WWE legends appeared at Saturday's Clash at the Cove event at Coveleski Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. The following are the results: Halloween beat Seth Clash, Brian "The Crippler" Costello beat Benji Dolly in a no DQ, no countout match, Bob Orton Jr. and The Ripper beat Cosmic Kid and Pat Day to retain the IWA Tag Titles, Brutus Beefcake beat Andy Chene to win the IWA TV Title, Greg Valentine beat Sgt. Jay Peterson to retain the IWA Title, Jim Duggan beat Brian Costello to retain the IWA U.S. Title. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Darren Persicke]

-The following matches are listed for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: The Lumberjacks vs. Tom Stone and J.T. Carson, Col. DeBeers vs. John Pistulka, Buck Zumhofe vs. W.T. Jones, Jake Milliman and Tommy Jammer vs. The Destruction Crew, Killer vs. Curtis Hughes.
