-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in Bossier City, La. at Century Link Center. WWE is advertising a special appearance by John Cena, which may be limited to his WWE Main Event taping match. We are looking for additional correspondents for tonight's show. -Dot Net readers were asked which of the three members of The Shield they were most excited to see on the WWE main roster. It was a back and forth race between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins until Ambrose finally pulled away with 48 percent of the vote. Rollins had 45 percent of the vote, yet only 73 votes separated the two. The previously less visible Reigns brought in six percent of the vote (one percent was split). Be sure to vote in our latest poll, which asks viewers whether they were satisfied with The Shield's sit-down interview that aired on Monday's Raw.

-The WWE Main Event show will be taped tonight at the Smackdown taping. The featured match for Wednesday's show will be John Cena vs. Damien Sandow. It will be Cena's first match on the the ION Network show.

-The dark main event for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping is Big Show vs. Sheamus for the World Hvt. Championship.

-The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith was born on this date in 1962. Smith died on May 18, 2002 at age 39 after suffering a heart attack while vacationing in British Columbia. Hart and longtime partner Dynamite Kid (Tommy Billington) were WWE Tag Champions, and Smith also had singles title reigns as Intercontinental Champion, European Champion, and Hardcore Champion. Smith and his wife Diana had two children - Harry and Georgia. Harry worked as David Hart Smith in WWE and continues to wrestle independently.

-Former WCW wrestler Evan Karagias is 39 today. He was born on November 27, 1973.

-Progress Wrestling held a show on Sunday at the Boston Dome in Tuffnell Park in London with the following results: London Riots beat The Hunter Brothers, R.J. Singh beat Paul Robinson, Noam Dar over Jimmy Havoc in a submissions match, Mark Andrew beat Will Ospreay, Dave Mastiff beat Stixx and Marty Scurll in a three-way, El Ligero beat Nathan Cruz to win the Progress Title.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic. The AWA show will return tomorrow night. Check Dot Net Daily on Wednesday for the match listing for that show.
