-The WWE Smackdown taping takes place tonight in Uniondale, New York at Nassau Veteran Memorial Coliseum. MizTV with guests Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Randy Orton is advertised, plus is adversing that Curtis Axel will be on the show.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Smackdown taping and Thursday's TNA Impact Wrestling television event in Duluth, Georgia. If you are going to the show and want to help, email your updates to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members are listening to my 45-minute audio review of WWE Raw, and the 90-minute audio review of the TNA Slammiversary event that Chris Shore and I recorded on Sunday. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-The dark main event for Smackdown is listed as Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Big Show and Mark Henry. It's likely a dated advertisement since Henry has been out of action and is not listed for tonight's event by WWE.

-WWE released "12 Rounds 2: Reloaded" featuring Randy Orton today. The movie is available on Amazon for $16.99 on Blu Ray, and $12.99 for the standard DVD.

-The late Gorilla Monsoon (a/k/a Robert James Marella) was born on this date in 1937. The WWE Hall of Famer wrestler and broadcaster died on October 6, 1999 due to heart failure brought on by complications of diabetes. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1994.

-Former ECW Champion Mikey Whipwreck (a/k/a John Watson) is 40 today. He was born on June 4, 1973.

-Pro wrestler Joe Malenko (a/k/a Joe Simon) is 58 today. He was born on June 4, 1955. He is the son of Boris Malenko and the brother of WWE producer Dean Malenko. Joe last worked in All Japan Wrestling in 2010.

-The following matches are listed for the 11:00 p.m. CT airing of the AWA on ESPN Classic: Nick Bockwinkel vs. J. York, The Midnight Rockers vs. Knight and Dennis Stamp, Brad Rheingans vs. Pete Sanchez, Col. DeBeers, Doug Somers, and Larry Zbyszko vs. Curt Hennig, Greg Gagne, and Jimmy Snuka.
