-WWE Smackdown features the final hype for Battleground and the Big Show vs. The Shield in a handicap match. Join Jake Barnett for live coverage of the show as it airs at 7:00 p.m. CT on SyFy.

-WWE is at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, NY tonight. Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan is the featured match. The Shield, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and others are also scheduled to appear.

-WWE is at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY Saturday night. The match listings include CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel & Paul Heyman in a handicap match and Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio, plus the Wyatts are scheduled to appear.

-WWE is also at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY Saturday night. The match listing is the same as Syracyse in Friday night., including Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella, and the Bella Twins.

-WWE NXT is at the Bartow Armory in Bartow, FL Saturday night. Kassius Ohno, Mojo Rawley, CJ Parker, Xavier Woods and others are scheduled to appear.

-ROH is at the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, Maryland Saturday night. reDRagon vs. Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin for the Tag Titles is the scheduled main event with Matt Taven vs. Cedric Alexander for the Television title and n appearance by ROH Champion Adam Cole are also listed.

-The late WWE Hall of Famer "Chief" Jay Strongbow (a/k/a Luke Joseph Scarpa) would have turned 85 today. Scarpa passed away on April 3, 2012 from complications suffered from a fall in his home.

-NWA star Bobby Fulton (a/k/a James Hines) turns 53 today. Fulton and Tommy Rogers won several tag team champions, including the NWA US Tag Team Championships twice, during the NWA heyday as the Fantastics.

-There are no pro wrestling shows scheduled for ESPN Classic this weekend.
