-The WWE Smackdown/NXT taping takes place tonight in Seattle, Wash. at Key Arena. The advertised main event on the arena website is Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho and C.M. Punk. We are looking for correspondents who plan to attend the taping. If you are going to the show and can help us out, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-TNA is taping next Monday's Impact television show tonight in Orlando, Fla. There are no matches advertised for the show. Did anyone else find it strange that TNA didn't bother to advertise anything for next week during Monday's Impact? As always, we are looking for correspondents. If you are going to the taping and can help us out, please contact me at the address listed above.
-Dot Net Members are listening to my 56-minute audio recap of last night's live TNA Impact show. You can score access to all the perks of membership including the first look at Dot Net original news on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for $5 per month membership via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.
-Check back tonight for Dot Net live coverage of the WWE NXT program. Dot Net contributor Chris Shore will be covering the show live beginning at 9:00 p.m. CT, and I am planning to correspond with the Dot Net Members in the forum tonight throughout the show. We have a lot of fun commenting on the show and whatever else comes to mind during NXT, and all members are welcome to join in on the fun.
-Thanks to Dave LaGreca and Pete Copeland for having me on the "Busted Open" radio show on Monday. For more information on the Sirius 122, XM 143 satellite radio show, visit Sirius.com.
-It's worth noting that Mickie James is still advertised for Smackdown on the WWE website. For those who missed it, she underwent a pair of surgeries last week and was in the hospital as recently as Thursday. She wrote on her Twitter page on Monday that she has returned home, yet noted that her leg was still propped up, so I'd be surprised if she appeared on the show.
-In a dark match held after Monday's Raw, John Cena and Triple H defeated Sheamus and Batista.
-WWE Raw drew a 3.7 rating last week. The first hour scored a 3.56 rating with 5,512,000 viewers, while hour two posted a 3.78 with 5,527,000 viewers. It will be interesting to see how WWE performed in the ratings last night when the numbers are released later today.
-There are no pro wrestling shows advertised for tonight on ESPN Classic.
