-The WWE Smackdown taping will be held today in Manchester, England at Phones 4u Arena. WWE teased a John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio arm wrestling match for Friday's television show.

-WWE is in Newcastle, England at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena with a live event tonight with the following advertised matches: Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz vs. The Shield in a six-man tag. WWE is also advertising Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Wade Barrett, A.J. Lee, and Natalya for this event, meaning none are likely to appear at the Smackdown taping.

-Former WWE wrestler Matt Cappotelli is 34 today. He was born on November 12, 1979. Cappotelli and John Hennigan (a/k/a John Morrison) won the Tough Enough season three contracts. Cappotelli was a standout in Ohio Valley Wrestling when he was forced to put his career on hold due to a malignant brain tumor.

-Late pro wrestler Trent Acid (a/k/a Michael Verdi) was born on this date in 1980. He died on June 18, 2010 of a drug overdose at the age of 29.

-Former ECW performer Elektra (a/k/a Donna Adamo) is 43 today. She was born on November 12, 1970. She appeared on "The Sopranos" as a stripper at the "Bada Bing" strip club, which is actually "Satin Dolls" in New Jersey.

-Former WWE performer Lena Yada is 35 today. He was born on November 12, 1978. She gave birth to a son named Samuel in September.

-A block of Global Supercard Wrestling will air on ESPN Classic tonight from 6:00 p.m. CT until 5:00 a.m. CT. There is no information provided about these shows.
