-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Nashville, Tenn. at the Sommet Center. The hype for the show is based on Bret Hart returning to confront Vince McMahon in the second chapter of their build toward WrestleMania 26. WWE has done a nice job of keeping the story alive by mixing in Undertaker and John Cena, but they need something hot tonight to justify the buildup.
-We are looking for correspondents in Nashville who can pass along the dark match and WWE Superstars taping results. If you are going to the show and can help us out with a report, send it to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
-The guest host for tonight's show is actor William Shatner, who is now stranger to WWE. His last appearance for the company came when he inducted Jerry Lawler into the WWE Hall of Fame.
-The dark match main event advertised on the Sommet Center website is Sheamus defending the WWE Championship against John Cena. It's the same dark match main event they've been holding most weeks since Sheamus captured the title.
-Dot Net Members are listening to the 101-minute audio recap of the WWE Royal Rumble that Rich Twilling and I recorded late last night after the pay-per-view. We had a lot to say about the show and the various directions that WWE could take at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and WrestleMania 26. You can gain instant access to all Dot Net Audio for $5 per month by visiting the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.
-Check back tonight for a double dose of Raw live coverage, as Rich and I will both review the show beginning at 8:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Dot Net Members can also look forward to an audio recap of Raw late tonight.
-Former WWE wrestler Eric Escobar was scheduled to appear on the World Wrestling Council events in Puerto Rico over the weekend.
-Author Irvin Muchnick will be signing copies of the book "Chris and Nancy: The True Story of the Benoit Murder-Suicide and Pro Wrestling's Cocktail of Death" at the Borders in Stamford, Conn. on March 25 from 7-9 p.m. ET. For more information, visit Muchnick.com.
-Thanks to Raj Giri of Wrestling.Inc. for featuring Prowrestling.net in the daily newsfeed.
-A 30-minute episode of UWF wrestling will air on ESPN Classic tonight at 9:00 p.m. CT. There are no matches advertised for the show.
