-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Phoenix, Arizona at U.S. Airways Center. The show will feature C.M. Punk vs. Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel in a non-title match. Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon are all advertised. I will be attending an annual fantasy football draft, so join Chris Shore for live coverage of WWE Raw as the show airs on USA Network tonight on USA Network beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-TNA wrestler Petey Williams is 32 today. He was born on August 26, 1981.

-The late Bobby Duncum, Jr. was born on August 26, 1965. He died on January 24, 2000 due to an accidental overdose on a prescription painkiller.

-The late Crash Holly (a/k/a Mike Lockwood) was born on August 25, 1971. He died on November 6, 2003. His death was ruled a suicide.

-For those who missed it on Saturday, Vincent Kennedy McMahon celebrated his 68th birthday. He was born on August 24, 1945.

-WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles) celebrated his 69th birthday on Saturday. He was born on August 24, 1944. Johnson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his son Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in 2008.

-Sho Funaki turned 45 on Saturday. He was born on August 24, 1968.

-Global Supercard Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic today from 10:00 a.m. CT to 7:00 p.m. tonight. There are no wrestlers listed for these shows.

-UWF Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT. The 30-minute show features Cactus Jack vs. David Sammartino, and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams vs. Col. DeBeers.
