-WWE Raw is live tonight from Green Bay, Wisconsin at the Resch Center, as the travel weary WWE crew is back from their tour stops in Australia, South Africa, and China. Brock Lesnar is advertised for tonight's show, as are Triple H and Vince McMahon, along with the usual crew. WWE is billing Lesnar's appearance as his first in Green Bay in 11 years. Join me for live coverage as the show airs tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Raw in Green Bay and Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping in Rockford, Illinois. If you are going to one these shows and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-It's August and that means fantasy football season is right around the corner. If your league needs a reliable online commissioner service, I can't recommend Myfantasyleague.com highly enough. I moved my leagues their several years ago and have never looked back.

-The advertised dark main event for Raw is John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio in a champion vs. champion match.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to my WWE Raw audio review later today. They are currently listening to the two-hour Dot Net Weekly audio show that Chris Shore and I recorded last week. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-Stan Lane is 60 today. Lane worked as one-half of the legendary Fabulous Ones and Midnight Express tag teams. Here's hoping WWE gets around to inducting both teams into the WWE Hall of Fame one of these years.

-Former pro wrestler Pat Tanaka is 52 today. He was born on August 5, 1961. He teamed with Paul Diamond as Badd Company in the AWA and as a version of The Orient Express in WWE (Tanaka was in both versions of the team). In more recent years, he served as the creative director for Micro Championship Wrestling.

-TNA wrestler Frankie Kazarian (a/k/a Frank Gerdelman) turned 36 on Sunday. He was born on August 4, 1977.

-WWE producer Dean Malenko (a/k/a Dean Simon) turned 53 on Sunday. He was born on August 4, 1960.

-Japanese pro wrestler Kensuke Sasaki turned 47 on Sunday. He was born on August 4, 1966.

-WWE wrestler Damien Sandow (a/k/a Aaron Haddad) turned 31 on Saturday. He was born on August 3, 1982.

-Legendary pro wrestler William "Haystacks" Calhoun was born on August 3, 1934. He died on December 7, 1989 due to complications from diabetes.

-ESPN Classic lists an eight-hour block of "Global Supercard Wrestling" today beginning at 10:00 a.m. CT. I assume this is the old Global pro wrestling show, though I can't rule out that it's amateur wrestling of some kind.
