-It is Labor Day here in the United States. The staff and I will be enjoying the holiday with friends and family today, so our updates will not be as frequent as usual. However, things will get back to normal tonight beginning with WWE Raw.

-WWE Raw will be held tonight in Des Moines, Iowa at Wells Fargo Arena. Join me for live coverage of Raw as the show airs on USA Network at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-Tracy Smothers is 51 today. He was born on September 2, 1962.

-Ted Petty (a/k/a Rocco Rock) was born September 1, 1953. He died on September 21, 2002 of a heart attack at age 49. Rocco teamed with Johnny Grunge as The Public Enemy and worked in every major promotion during their run together.

-Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow was born on September 1, 1961. He died on January 19, 2007 at age 45. His death was attributed to multiple drugs found in his system, and he was also suffering from a heart problem.

-Former TNA wrestler Doug Williams turned 41 on Sunday. He was born on September 1, 1972.

-Deuce (a/k/a Jimmy Reiher, Jr.) turned 42 on Sunday. He was born on September 1, 1971. The son of Jimmy Snuka also worked as Sim Snuka and Jimmy Snuka, Jr. among other names. His sister is WWE wrestler Tamina.

-TNA star Jeff Hardy turned 36 on Saturday. He was born on August 31, 1977. Hardy married longtime girlfriend Beth in 2011 and the couple have an adorable (based on a Twitter photo) daughter together.

-TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James turned 34 on Saturday. She was born on August 31, 1979.

-Jos LeDuc (a/k/a Michael Pigeon) was born on August 31, 1944. He died on May 1, 1999.

-UWF Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT. The featured match is Danny Spivey vs. Brian Blair.

-Global Supercard Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic at 11:00 a.m. CT through 5:00 a.m. CT. There is no information listed regarding these shows.
