-WWE Raw will be held tonight in Biloxi, Mississippi at Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Believe it or not, this is the go-home show for Sunday's WWE Battleground pay-per-view. WWE has announced that the Rhodes family will appear per the invitation of Triple H for another business proposal. For whatever it's worth, Vince McMahon is also included in the talent listings for the event on the WWE website. Join Chris Shore for live coverage of Raw as it airs on USA Network beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-The advertised dark main events for tonight's Raw show are Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, and C.M. Punk vs. Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman in a handicap match.

-Former WWE Diva Candice Michelle (a/k/a Candice Michelle Beckman-Ehrlich) is 35 today. She was born on September 30, 1978. She finished her run in WWE on June 19, 2009. She has gone on to give birth to two daughters since her departure from the wrestling business.

-The late Chris Von Erich (a/k/a Chris Adkisson) was born on this date in 1969. Chris took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head on September 12, 1991. Chris had a brief run as a wrestler and was limited by asthma.

-The late Skandor Akbar (a/k/a Jimmy Wehba) was born on September 29, 1934. He died on August 10, 2010 due to prostate cancer. After having a long run as a wrestler, Akbar became a manager in 1977 and led various incarnations of "Devastation Incorporated" in World Class Championship Wrestling.

-David Sammartino turned 53 on Sunday. He was born on September 29, 1960. His Wikipedia page states that he has worked as a personal trainer for over a decade. At last check, he had a strained relationship with his father Bruno Sammartino.

-Former WWE and ECW standout Yoshihiro Tajiri turned 43 on Sunday. He was born on September 29, 1970. He launched the Wrestling New Classic promotion in Japan on April 5, 2012.

-Former WWE wrestler Steve Blackman turned 50 on Saturday. He was born on September 28, 1963. His Wikipedia page notes that he made a brief cameo on the JBL & Cole show on March 29.

-A block of Global Supercard Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic tonight beginning at 1:00 a.m. CT that runs until 5:00 a.m. CT. ESPN lists no details about these shows.
