-WWE Raw takes place tonight in Albany, New York at Times Union Center. John Cena has stated on Twitter that he will be at the show despite undergoing elbow surgery last week. One can only assume he'll make good on that given that he managed to attend the NXT taping just two days after surgery last week. I'll actually be disappointed if we don't get C.M. Punk offering to defend the WWE Championship against Cena in tonight's main event while knowing that Cena is unable to compete. Join me for live coverage tonight beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT as the show airs on USA Network.

-For those who missed it on Sunday, Jim Ross announced via Twitter that he will join Michael Cole on Raw commentary this week.

-We are looking for correspondents for tonight's WWE Raw event and Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping in Buffalo, New York. If you are going to either show and want to help, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to my WWE Raw audio review later tonight. Join us on the ad-free version of the website and listen to recent interviews with Kevin Steen, The Young Bucks, and Steve Corino in addition to several hours of weekly programming by signing up for membership now via Prowrestling.net/amember/signup.php.

-The advertising for the dark main event is dated in that it lists C.M. Punk vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship. By the way, I am curious to know how much notice WWE had regarding Cena's surgery. If the surgery was planned, then why didn't WWE pull him from live event advertising sooner than they did?

-The late Mark "Bison" Smith was born on this date in 1973. He died on November 22, 2011 at age 38 due to heart complications.

-Independent wrestling star Matt Hardy turned 38 on Sunday. He was born on September 23, 1974. Hardy recently made his return to the Ring of Honor promotion and appears to be heading into a feud with TV Champion Adam Cole.

-Retired pro wrestler Ole Anderson (a/k/a Alan Rogowski) turned 70 on Saturday. He was born on September 22, 1942. Anderson was an original member of The Four Horsemen, though he was not invited to the faction's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

-The late Johnny Valentine (a/k/a John Wisniski) would have been 84 on Saturday. He was born on September 22, 1928. He died on April 24, 2001. He is the father of former WWE star Greg Valentine.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
