-The WWE Main Event show tonight is tag team heavy with The Wyatts vs. The Primetime Players and Tons of Funk vs. The Real Americans. Join Ryan Kester for live coverage of WWE Main Event as the show airs on ION Network tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-There will be no Dot Net Countdown today as we are merging the show with tomorrow's Dot Net Weekly. -The late WWE Hall of Famer Yokozuna (a/k/a Rodney Agatupu Anoaʻi) would have been 47 today. A two-time WWE Champion, Yokozuna passed away on October 23, 200 at the age of 34 from fluid in his lungs.

-Former WCW/WWE/TNA personality Sharmell (a/k/a Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman) turns 43 today. Sharmell is the husband of WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and served as in valet in both WWE and TNA.

-Former WCW enhancement wrestler El Dandy (a/k/a Roberto Gutiérrez Frías) turns 51 today. El Dandy became a wrestling cult phenomenon when Bret Hart asked "Who are you to doubt El Dandy?" during an interview about the challengers who had faced him for the US Championship. He was also responsible for training former WWE Diva Lita.

-All Japan Pro Wrestling wrestler and booker Jun Akiyama turns 44 today. Jun is currently one half of the AJPW Unified World Tag Team Champions.

-Former WCW/WWE star Kevin Nash will be appearing for the Funkdafied Wrestling Federation on Saturday, October 5 at the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge. You can get more information at http://www.funkdafiedwrestling.com/.

-A block of Global Supercard Wrestling airs on ESPN Classic tonight from 6:00 p.m. CT until 11:00 p.m. CT. There is no information provided about these shows.
