-The featured match of WWE Main Event is The Prime Time Players vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Join Ryan Kester for live coverage of WWE Main Event as the show airs on ION Network tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-Dallas Page is no longer booked for the Pro Wrestling Elite or Fighting Spirit Wrestling shows on October 4-5. Bill Behrens issued a press release announcing that promoters Robert Davis and James of Fighting Spirit failed to send the deposit and flight fee before September 1, so Page is no longer working the dates. Behrens noted that fans who bought tickets to see Page at the events should contact the promoters. He listed Davis's email as rld.fsp.pwe@gmail.com, and fightingspiritpro@gmail.com.

-"Midget" wrestler Short Sleeve Sampson announced his 40-city farewell retirement tour beginning October 1. Sampson appeared on Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, TNA, and played parody characters on WWE television. He is taking bookings for his final tour via email at chaoticsampson@yahoo.com. -Former WWE wrestler Kia Stevens is 36 today. She was born on September 4, 1977. Stevens has worked as Kharma, Awesome Kong, and Amazing Kong.

-Legendary promoter Jerry Jarrett is 71 today. He was born on September 4, 1942. Jarrett cofounded the TNA promotion along with his son Jeff Jarrett.

-NYWC is holding an October 6 tribute show to indy wrestler and character actor Mario Todisco and a benefit for five year-old Cole Rapini, who was given a diagnosis of having only two years to live. All proceeds go to Rapini to help him fulfill the items on his wish list. The talent for the show includes Justin Credible, Jason Knight, Joel Gertner, Matt Striker, and Homicide.
