-WWE star Glenn Jacobs (a/k/a Kane) wrote his first blog for The Daily Caller last week. The piece questioned whether the free market causes wealth inequality. -WWE CFO George Barrios will participate in the J.P. Morgan's 41st Annual Global Technology teleconference for investors on May 16 in Boston, Mass. Barrios is scheduled to speak at roughly 11:00 a.m. CT and the audio webcast will be made available at Corporate.WWE.com.

-Ring of Honor wrestler Tommaso Ciampa (a/k/a Tommasso Whitney) is 28 today. He was born on May 8, 1985. Ciampa made a surprise return to the ring at the Border Wars iPPV on Saturday night after being sidelined by a torn ACL since August 2012.

-Absolute Intense Wrestling is holding the JT Lightning Invitational Tournament on May 24-25 in Cleveland, Ohio at Turners Hall. THe first round matches advertised thus far are Kimber Lee vs. Bobby Beverly, Johnny Gargano vs. Matt Cross, and Michael Elgin vs. Biff Busick. Other notable advertised talent includes Adam Cole, BJ Whitmer, Tadarius Thomas, and Colin Delaney. Plus, Jock Samson vs. Tracy Smothers is advertised for the second day.
