Undertaker vs. Batista headlines Smackdown, two legends hospitalized, WrestleMania 24 DVD release date, Ralphus, AWA matches

-Undertaker vs. Batista will headline tonight's Smackdown on The CW. Plus, Big Show vs. Mark Henry, and Chris Jericho brings The Highlight Reel to Smackdown for one week.

-Killer Kowalski was hospitalized in Massachusetts recently after injuring his knees in three separate falls, according to a Baltimore Sun story. The author of the story, Kevin Eck, attributes the story to Bruno Sammartino, who has been in contact with Kowalski's wife and passed along the news to WrestlingFigs.com. Kowalski has since been moved to a rehabilitation facility.

-Bobby Eaton of the legendary Midnight Express tag team has been hospitalized with heart problems. Stacey Cornette told WrestlingClassics.com that Eaton suffered a recurrence of a previous heart problem earlier this week. The issue was serious enough that he was in the intensive care unit for a period.

-The WrestleMania 24 three-disc collectors edition is scheduled to be released on May 20. The set includes the entire WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and is available for pre-order on WWE.com in standard and Blu-Ray.

-Ralphus lives! Chris Jericho's former WCW sidekick is scheduled to appear on upcoming UXW shows in Florida. Other notable names include Jake Roberts, Steve Corino, Norman Smiley, and Manny Fernandez.

-The NWA Wrestling Showcase show that airs on Colours Television Network will now air on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. with a replay on Sundays at the same time. [Thanks to Keith Lipinski]

-ROH's Jimmy Jacobs is featured in a lengthy article at SlamWrestling.com.

-TNA is scheduled to hold a show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on May 17. The building was home to WWE television tapings years ago and ECW's 1999 Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]

-The following matches are scheduled to air on tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: A Midnight Rockers squash, Col. DeBeers vs. Earthquake Ferris, Curt Hennig and Scott Hall vs. Doug Sommers and Buddy Rose for the AWA Tag Titles.
