-The Warrior has launched a new Myspace page in which he shoots down rumors that there was more than one person who played the Ultimate Warrior character. He says he has not self-destructed despite reports to the contrary. "To find those who truly have self-destructed, keep your eye on the obituaries and visit the gravesides of other WWF/WWE talent who've died of various forms of self-indulgence, beginning with their refusal to mature as real men and grow up and act their age." To check out his Myspace page, click here.
-As Jim Ross noted in his blog yesterday, Warrior has been making the radio rounds lately and stated recently that he'd be like to face Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 25. Since when is Warrior willing to do business with WWE? Let's see, he's working an overseas show and now he's suddenly open to doing business with WWE. I'm thinking maybe his bank statement isn't as impressive as it once was.
-TNA's Jeff Jarrett is scheduled to sign autographs at the Jamil Temple in Columbia, S.C. on May 9. Former TNA wrestler Raven is scheduled to appear on a live wrestling show that will be held after the autograph session. I wonder if anyone has told Jeff that he'll be seeing Raven for the first time in a while. I'm sure he's thrilled. For more information on the event, click WWE.com. Poll Results: 41 percent of Dot Net voters thought the Raw ending was well done because they didn't see it coming and felt it put heat on William Regal. 29 percent said they hated the finish and felt they deserved better after watching the match for 20 minutes. 17 percent said they weren't happy about it, yet had to admit that it was a clever finish. 13 percent said they were cool with it this week, but it better not happen again.
Poll Analysis: I'm surprised that so many people voted in favor of the finish. I thought I'd be in the minority when I said I didn't mind the finish. Those who disliked the angle have been very vocal in expressing their displeasure over the lack of the finish. I'm most surprised that WWE didn't even acknowledge the outcome of the match during ECW last night. I'll talk more about that in my blog later this morning.
-Maria is featured in an interview in the Barrie Examiner and revealed that her grandfather came to the unveiling of her Playboy cover. "My family is just the most supportive," said the wrestling diva. "My mom, my sister and my grandma came to the unveiling of the cover and my mom bought a stack to give to co-workers because she's so proud of me," Maria said. To read the full interview, click here.
-Jimmy Snuka and Matt Hyson (a/k/a Spike Dudley) are scheduled to appear at the Adirondack Pro Wrestling event in Highgate, Vermont on Saturday. For more information, visit the promotion's Myspace Page.
-ESPN is not listing any matches on their website for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show.
