-Believe it or not, there are no major wrestling events today. No ceremonies, no pay-per-views, no television tapings, no fanfest activities, nothing. The WWE crew is understandably exhausted and ready for some R&R. Nevertheless, it will be a very busy day here on Dot Net. Along with the usual news updates (including multiple Dot Net Exclusive stories), I'll be posting more of your favorite Ric Flair memories.

-Also, check back for a new Dot Net Podcast later today. For those of you who are new to the site, they are free like everything else on Dot Net.

-Two matches planned for WWE Backlash are Undertaker vs. Edge for the World Hvt. Title, and Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero for the ECW Title, according to WrestlingObserver.com.

-The new Heyman Hustle features Paul Heyman discussing politics with Ice T and his Playboy Playmate wife Coco. Check it out at the UK Sun.

-Trish Stratus chimed in on the BunnyMania match during an interview with Fight Network Radio's Jason Agnew. "I think there is a place for it because particularly there is a deal with Playboy so there is obviously a place for it," she said. "There always will be, but I really think they could always provide the other additional idea, that is kind of what I did, I had the women's storyline going for the women's championship and then it's like Beth is the champion and there is no women's championship match. So I just... boo hoo, I don't like it. I don't like it one bit." [Thanks to Dot Net reader Adam Lebow]

-Final WrestleMania 24 Poll: Which match did you least enjoy? I left out the women's match in tribute to Santino Marella, who didn't deserve the treatment he received from the Divas on Monday. Here's to you, Santino! Actually, I know a number of people automatically vote for the Divas matches and I'm curious to find out what you all think of the non-Diva matches from the show.

Daily Nuggets

-Kurt Angle and Karen Angle will be signing autographs for Signature Dreams in Glen Rock, Pa. on May 3. The press release issued refers to him as a former WWE Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist, but does not mention TNA or the TNA Title he currently holds. Ouch. For more information, visit SignatureDreams.com.

-What do President Bush and John Cena have in common? Blogger Jason Embry claims they receive similar crowd reactions. Check out Statesman.com for all the details.

-WWE has launched a free online video game to hype the release of WWE: The Music, Volume 8. Check it out at WWERocker.com.

-Mr. T is taking on Dracula. No, it's not an April Fool's joke a day late. Rather, it's the latest in a series of graphic novels. For more information, visit MohawkMedia.co.

-No luck on the AWA match listing for tonight's show again today. The ESPN website does not provide match listings for tonight, but there is an advertisement for the show on Thursday night. I'll post those on the site tomorrow, but it's not looking good for previews after that. You can always check the full month's schedule at ESPNmediazone.com.
