-It's a rare weekend with no WWE live events as the crew gets a little downtime before embarking on the UK tour after television next week. WWE Raw will be held in Greenville, S.C. on Monday, and Smackdown will be held in Charlotte, N.C.

--We are looking for correspondents for the WWE events mentioned above as well a the TNA and Ring of Honor live events listed below. If you are attending one of the shows listed below and want to help, send your report (or basic results) to dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-TNA is running a rare live event on Saturday in Mount Pleasant, Michigan at Soaring Eagle Casino with the following lineup: Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries, Robbie E and Jessie vs. James Storm and Gunner for the TNA Tag Titles, Chris Sabin vs. Manik for the X Division Title, Gail Kim vs. ODB for the TNA Knockouts Title, plus Abyss is advertised for his "first live event appearance in over a year" and Kazarian and Magnus are both advertised.

-The TNA live event that was scheduled for Battle Creek, Michigan this weekend was among the shows that the company has cancelled.

-Ring of Honor is in Cincinnati, Ohio at The Masonic Center on Saturday with the following notable matches: Jay Briscoe vs. Kevin Steen, Matt Taven vs. Adam Page for the ROH TV Title, Tammaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Michael Bennett in a four-way for a TV Title shot at the Final Battle event. Nigel McGuinness will appear for a special pre-show Q&A session. Adam Cole was scheduled to face Steen in the main event, but he had to pull out of the show due to a concussion he suffered last weekend.

-The great Bobby Heenan is 69 today. The WWE Hall of Famer was born on November 1, 1944. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004 by Jack Lanza. Heenan has battled numerous health issues over the years. For my money, he is the best manager and funniest performer the business has ever seen.

-Former WWE wrestler Tyler Reks (a/k/a Gabriel Tuft) is 35 today. He was born on November 1, 1978. Tuft asked for his release from WWE in August 2012 shortly after he and Curt Hawkins debuted a stripper gimmick that appeared to be inspired by the movie "Magic Mike." His departure was announced on August 21, and Tuft stated that he was simply leave WWE to spend more time with his family.

-The late Brad Armstrong (a/k/a Robert James) died at age 51 one year ago today. The cause of death was listed simply as "medical distress." He visited a physician the week before his death for an undisclosed medical issue. His death was a real shocker to friends and family. He is the son of Bob Armstrong, and the brother of WWE agent, "Road Dogg" Brian James, referee Scott Armstrong, and retired pro wrestler Steve Armstrong.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic this weekend.
