-TNA Super Impact begins at the usual 8:00 p.m. CT start time. It's a three-hour show headlined by A.J. Styles vs. Kurt Angle in a match that people within the company are absolutely raving about. The show will also feature footage from the "Before The Glory" pay-per-view preview that I feel is some of the best footage the company has ever shot. Rich Twilling will be covering the show live tonight, so stop by and watch along with him.
-WWE Superstars is headlined by the Mark Henry vs. Chris Masters match that will determine the seventh member of Team Raw for the Bragging Rights pay-per-view. It's not exactly a hot match, but it's still nice to see that WWE is throwing a bone to their Thursday night show by adding a stipulation that makes the show seem relevant for once. Chris Shore will be covering the show live tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT, so be sure to watch along with him.
-Special thanks to Brian Fritz and the gang at Between The Ropes for having me on the show Tuesday night. You can listen to my appearance, which is about an hour into the show, by visiting BetweenTheRopes.com. By the way, keep listening after my appearance for some guy named Rob Van Dam Fritz assured me that he has the bigger guests on first. Yes, I'm kidding.
-Lou Albano's death received plenty of mainstream attention. I was pleasantly surprised to hear CBS News cover his passing in a radio report. They noted his pro wrestling history and played "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" in the background while discussing his appearances in the Cyndi Lauper videos.

-WWE was featured in the latest episode of USA Network's "Psych." Dot Net reader Johnny Meant notes that the characters spent the entire first segment watching the 2009 Royal Rumble.
-X-Treme Intense Championship Wrestling celebrates its nine-year anniversary with a show on Sunday at The Ritz in Warren, Mich. The show features former WWE wrestler Zach Gowen. For more information, check out XICWDetroit.com.
-The AWA is not listed for tonight on ESPN Classic. The show will return tomorrow night at 10 p.m. CT. Check back tomorrow for the full list of matches.
