-TNA Impact Wrestling is live from Louisville, Kentucky tonight for the "Destination X" Impact special. X Division Champion Chris Sabin has traded in his title for a chance to face Bully Ray for the TNA World Championship. Join Chris Shore for live coverage of the show as it airs on SpikeTV tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT. The July 25 edition of Impact will also be taped tonight.

-Wrestling legend Carlos Colón, Sr. turns 65 today. The father of former WWE star Carlito and current star Primo once held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, even though the reign is not recognized by the NWA..

-Current TNA agent and former ECW/WWE star Al Snow (a/k/a Allen Ray Sarven) turns 50 today. The former mannequin head swinging, six-time WWE Hardcore Champion is currently employed by TNA.

-Current NXT trainer Adam Birch, who wrestled in WWE as Joey Mercury, turns 34 today. The former WWE Tag Team Champion suffered a harrowing injury in a ladder match in 2006, leading to a prescription drug problem that Vince McMahon personally intervened in to send Birch to rehab. Since getting clean, he has worked as a trainer in NXT.

-The late John Kronus (a/k/a George B. Caiazzo) was found dead in his fiancé's home on this date in 2007. Kronus won the ECW Tag Team Championships with both Saturn and New Jack in his tenure there. The cause of death was ruled heart failure from an enlarged heart. He was 38 years old.
