-TNA Impact Wrestling is live from Tampa, Florida tonight. AJ Styles is, supposedly, joining Aces and Eights tonight. Plus, next week's go home show for Slammiversary will also be taped. Join me for live coverage of the show as it airs on SpikeTV at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-WWE NXT is holding its latest round of tapings at Full Sail University tonight at 6:30 p.m. local time. WWE Champion John Cena is scheduled to appear, and the first NXT Divas Champion will be crowned.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the flagship Dot Net Weekly audio show later today. Jason Powell and I will discuss all the news of the week on the approximately two-hour show. -The late Owen Hart died 14 years ago today at the age of 34. Hart, who was playing the "superhero" Blue Blazer character, fell to his death in the Kemper Arena in Kansas City during the WWE Over the Edge PPV while setting up for a stunt where he would repel from the rafters. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. WWE finished the PPV, a decision that continues to be debated to this day.

-Blitz Pro Wrestling is holding Hostile Intent this Saturday at St Joe's Park in Joliet, IL. WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggin is scheduled to appear, and there will be a commercial taped for former White Sox slugger Frank Thomas's "Big Hurt Beer." -Former TNA star Alex Shelly (a/k/a Patrick Martin) turns 30 today. Shelly was one half of the Motor City Machineguns with current TNA star Chris Sabin, but left the company in May 2012. Since then, Shelly has primarily worked for NJPW, where he and tag partner Yujiro Kushida recently lost the IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag titles.

-NXT star Bray Wyatt (a/k/a Windham Lawrence Rotunda) turns 26 today. The namesake of NWA star (and uncle) Barry Windham was once on the main WWE roster as Husky Harris, a member of the Nexus faction, before being punted back to NXT by Randy Orton where he took on the Bray Wyatt persona. He tore a pectoral muscle in July 2012 and returned to the ring in February of this year.

-There are no wrestling shows scheduled for ESPN Classic
