-TNA Impact Wrestling was taped last week in Huntsville, Ala. The show is headlined by Kurt Angle vs. Sting for the TNA Title, plus Winter defends the TNA Knockouts Title against Mickie James. It's always nice to see TNA play to a fresh audience rather than the overexposed Impact Zone crowd, thus the show should have a better atmosphere. Join Ryan Kester for his live coverage review of the show as it airs on Spike TV beginning at 8:00 p.m. CT.

-WWE Superstars is slated to air on the WWE website this afternoon. The show features John Morrison vs. R-Truth. Check back for Ryan Kester's live coverage.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the news-filled Dot Net Weekly audio show. Chris Shore and I will run through all the news of the week including items regarding Matt Hardy, Kevin Nash, C.M. Punk, and Triple H, plus we'll also have first-run items that have not been reported on the website. -TNA wrestler Doug Williams is 39 today. He was born on September 1, 1972. Williams did a great job as the X Division Champion only to become a forgotten man temporarily. He is now teaming with Magnus as The British Invasion.

-Former WWE wrestler Deuce/Sim Snuka (a/k/a James Reiher Jr.) is 40 today. He was born on September 1, 1971. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka.

-The late Bam Bam Bigelow would have turned 50 today. He was born on September 1, 1961 and died on January 19, 2007 due to a drug overdose.

-The late Ted Petty (a/k/a Rocco Rock of Public Enemy) was born on this date in 1953. He died on September 21, 2002 due to a heart attack.

-There are two airings of the 30-minute UWF pro wrestling show scheduled to air on ESPN Classic tonight beginning at 11:00 p.m. CT. The shows will feature The Power Twins vs. The Killer Bees, Bob Orton vs. Benjamin, plus Paul Orndorff and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams.
