-Happy New Year to everyone. Okay, so I'm a day late, but we took the day off from Dot Net Daily for the holiday. As you may have noticed, we kicked off our 2013 awards voting with the Best Female Act category on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the poll section, as we will be opening up the voting for the additional categories in the days ahead.

-Tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling kicks off its new year with a coronation ceremony for new TNA Champion Magnus. Plus, James Storm and Bobby Roode face the team of Kurt Angle and Gunner. Join Chris Shore for live coverage of TNA Impact Wrestling as the show airs on Spike TV tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT.

-Dot Net Members will most likely be listening to the Dot Net Weekly audio show later today. There is a chance it will be pushed back to Friday because of Chris Shore is in the process of moving. Once we do record, Chris and I will discuss all the news of the week, including Daniel Bryan joining The Wyatt Family, Brock Lesnar returning to WWE, and much more. The members are currently listening to the 73-minute Dot Net Countdown show with Will Pruett and Jake Barnett counting down their favorite moments of 2013 lists. Join us on the ad-free version of the website by signing up for membership now via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-A belated happy birthday to my buddy and occasional Dot Net contributor Jon Lopuch. Pooch was the second child of the year born at his hospital. The first baby's family was given a slew of gifts. Pooch's family got nothing. It really set the standard for the rest of Pooch's life. Pooch is counting down the days until his annual assignment of tracking the Royal Rumble eliminations. He is also a master of knowing which arena various WWE matches and angles occurred in.

-TNA star Bobby Roode turned 37. He was born on January 1, 1977.

-For those who missed it on Wednesday, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart turned 70 on Wednesday. He was born on January 1, 1944. Hart continues to work for WWE in some capacity and usually involved in the WrestleMania week festivities.

-Former pro wrestling personality Kimberly Page (a/k/a Kimberly Bacon-Falkenburg) turned 43 on Wednesday. She was born on January 1, 1970. Kimberly was married to Dallas Page.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
