-Tonight's TNA Impact Wrestling television show features the first television appearance of Magnus since he defeated Jeff Hardy to win the TNA Title. Plus, Sting and Jeff Hardy face Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, Jessie, and Robbie E in a handicap match. Join Chris Shore for live coverage of TNA Impact Wrestling as the show airs on Spike TV tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT.

-Wrestling Cares Association's "Race for the Ring: Championship Final" event takes place on January 18 in Gardena, California at VFW Post 3261. The final round of the tournament features Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano in a 20-minute, no draw, no double elimination match to crown the winner of the Race to the Ring tournament. Plus, ROH performer Maria Kannelis will serve as the host of the event. Proceeds for the show benefit San Diego Center for Children. For more details on the event, visit

-Former WWE wrestler Dennis Knight, who wrestled as Phineas Godwin and Mideon, is 45 today. He was born on December 26, 1968.

-Former TNA wrestler Chris Harris turned 40 on Wednesday. He was born on December 25, 1973. Harris had a successful run as part of the America's Most Wanted tag team with James Storm. His career derailed when he had a short run as Braden Walker in WWE.

-Former TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan (a/k/a Trenesha Biggers) turned 32 on Wednesday. She was born on December 25, 1981.

-Independent pro wrestler Chris Hero (a/k/a Chris Spradlin) turned 34 on Tuesday. He was born on December 24, 1979. Hero worked as Kassius Ohno in WWE developmental until he was released on November 8. He has been working all over the place independently since his WWE departure, including a return at the Ring of Honor Final Battle event earlier this month. He is advertised for four upcoming ROH dates.

-The late Mike DiBiase was born on December 24, 1923. He died on July 2, 1969 when he suffered a heart attack in the ring. He is the adoptive father of WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase, and grandfather of former WWE performer Ted DiBiase Jr.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight.
