TNA Impact Wrestling TV coverage note, WWE in Tokyo, Japan (correspondents needed), Dot Net Audio, Sid Vicious, Barry Windham, Vladimiar Kozlov, Adrian Adonis

-Happy Independence Day to our American readers. The staff and I will be enjoying the holiday today, so pardon the lighter update count than usual. Be safe, be smart, call a cab, and don't blow any any digits off.

-TNA Impact Wrestling TV airs on Spike TV tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT with a show that was taped on Saturday in Las Vegas. Impact features Bound For Glory matches and an X Division Title match featuring Austin Aries vs. Chris Sabin vs. T.J. Perkins in a new masked gimmick. We will not have live coverage tonight due to the holiday. However, I will have a report on the show up late tonight or Friday morning.

-The WWE crew is holding its first of two shows in Tokyo, Japan at Ryogoku Kokugikan with the following advertised lineup: John Cena vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship, Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus for the U.S. Championship, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan and Kane for the WWE Tag Team Championship, Curtis Axel vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Title, Chris Jericho vs. Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett vs. Zack Ryder, Natalya vs. Aksana, The Great Khali and Yoshi Tatsu vs. Primo and Epico.

-Sid Eudy (a/k/a Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, Psycho Sid) is 53 today. He was born on July 4, 1960. Sid was back in the news when his son Frank was a contestant on the "Big Brother" reality show last year. Sid appeared on the show and spoke about his relationship with his son and said he never missed an episode.

-WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham is 53 today. He was born on July 4, 1960. Windham suffered a heart attack on October 26, 2011. He eventually recovered and appeared in person as far of his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Four Horsemen last year.

-Former WWE wrestler Vladimir Kozlov (a/k/a Oleg Prodius) is 35 today. He was born on July 4, 1979. Prior to his WWE run, he appeared on the great HBO series "The Wire" and also had a role in Grindhouse. His Wikipedia page notes that he appeared in the fourth episode of this year's "Burn Notice" on USA Network.

-The late Adrian Adonis (a/k/a Keith Franke) died on this date in 1988. Adonis was killed in Newoundland when a van he was traveling in drove into a lake. Adonis and some of the independent wrestlers he was traveling with were also killed in the crash that was caused when the driver swerved to avoid a moose.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic.
