-WWE star Tyson Kidd (a/k/a Theodore James "TJ" Wilson) turns 33 today. Kidd, who is recovering from a torn meniscus he suffered in January, recently wed WWE Diva Natalya (a/k/a Natalie Neidhart) after dating for more than a decade.

--The late Shinya Hashimoto died on this date in 2005 of a brain aneurism at 40 years of age. Hashimoto was one New Japan Pro Wrestling's "Three Musketeers" along with Masahiro Chono and Keiji Mutoh. The trio was the hottest act in NJPW throughout the 1990s.

-Former NWA/WWE star Butch Reed turns 59 today. Reed, who teamed with WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons as "Doom" in WCW, holds the dubious distinction of being the first man ever eliminated in a Royal Rumble match.
