-TNA Impact Wrestling was taped last week in St. Louis, Missouri. There's no theme this week, but AJ Styles has called out Dixie Carter for some reason and Mickie James defends the Knockouts Championship against ODB. Join me for live coverage of the show as it airs on SpikeTV at 8:00 p.m. CT.

-WWE NXT is at the NXT Arena in Tampa, Florida tonight. Bo Dallas, Xavier Woods, Conor O'Brian and more are scheduled to appear. We are looking for correspondents for the show. If you are attending and can help with a report, drop us a line at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Dot Net Members will be listening to the Dot Net Weekly audio show later today. Jason Powell and I will be reviewing all the news of the week. Members are already listening to the 70-minute Dot Net Countdown with Will Pruett and Jake Barnett. If you enjoy our All Access audio, help support Dot Net by signing up for membership to the ad-free version of the website via the Dot Net Members' Signup Page.

-EVOLVE 23 takes place Saturday night in Ridgewood, NY at Guzman Sports Lounge. The main event is AR Fox defending the EVOLVE title against Anthony Nese, and Johnny Gargano and Trent Baretta will face Rich Swann and Ricochet in a match that will decide stipulations for EVOLVE 24.

-EVOLVE 24 takes place Sunday night in Brooklyn, NY at The Brooklyn Lyceum. The main event is Johnny Gargano vs. Rich Swann. If Swann's team wins on Saturday night, Gargano must defend the DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate title. If Gargano's team wins, Swann's career will be on the line. You can learn more and get tickets to both events at http://dgusa.tv/store/evolve-tickets.

-WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco (a/k/a Floyd Gerald "Jerry" Brisco) turns 67 today. Brisco is the father of current TNA wrestler Wes Brisco and continues to work for WWE as a talent scout after having three strokes in 2009, all within the month of June, and another smaller stroke in 2011.

-Former WCW wrestler Scotty O (a/k/a Scott "Scotty" Orlinger) turns 36 today. Orlinger was a late Power Plant graduate who did sign with WWE after the sale of WCW to WWE. He made appearances on Smackdown in 2005 but was released later that year.

-There are three airings of Global Supercard Wrestling on ESPN Classic tonight: 7:00 p.m., midnight, and 1:00 a.m. CT.
