-TNA is advertising the following matches for tonight's Impact: Christian Cage vs. Tomko in a King of the Mountain qualifier, Rhino vs. James Storm in another King of the Mountain qualifier, Roxxi vs. Angelina Love. The show was taped on Memorial Day and I was told that the crowd was rowdier than usual, so it will be interesting to see if that comes across on television.

-WWE's AM Raw show drew a 1.1 rating over the weekend, which topped the 1.1 rating the TNA Impact show did during prime time. Ouch. Then again, it's not like ECW is doing much better in prime time these days.

-Your chance to eat steak and smoke Kevin's Nash's cigar(s) has passed. The deadline for the ebay auction I mentioned in a previous story has passed without a single bid. Sorry, Big Kev.

-Bidding has also closed on buying a date to Johnny Fairplay's wedding. No word yet on whether anyone bid to win a date with the guy who was wearing a Star Wars t-shirt and holding onto a light saber while having his picture taken with Fairplay. Shockingly, I've received no inquiries regarding my sister's wedding on the same day.

-The pre-sale code for TNA's Victory Road pay-per-view is "VICTORY," according to an email issued by the company.

-Sid Vicious, Pierre Oulette, Abdullah the Butcher, Jim Neidhart, and Sylvan Grenier are scheduled to appear on June 20-21 on the Wrestling Supershow events in Ontario.

-Dot Net reader Matt O'Rourke sent the following note about Wavell Star, the wrestler who was featured in a recent news story due to his claims to children that he was mentored by the top names in WWE: "He's been wrestling on the Manitoba and Saskatchewan Indy scene for at least 10 years now, maybe more. I know he's spent a lot of time working for Tony Condello and has wrestled dark matches at atleast 2 WWE shows, the back to back Raw and Smackdown held there in 2004. While he's not a huge name by any means, he is relatively well known to wrestling fans in Manitoba."

-The following matches are listed in the preview for tonight's AWA on ESPN Classic show: Wahoo McDaniel squash, Manny Fernandez squash, Iron Shiek and Jerry Blackwell vs. Mad Dog Vachon and Greg Gagne, Jerry Lawler squash, Badd Company vs. Greg Gagne and Robert Gibson. The show was taped on June 25, 1988.
