-WWE Raw 1001 takes place tonight in Cincinnati, Ohio at U.S. Bank Arena. The show is expected to feature the return of Randy Orton from his 60-day Wellness Policy suspension. WWE did not advertise Orton last week, but his suspension is over and he has been listed for weeks on the WWE live events listing for this show. Join me for live coverage of WWE Raw as the show airs live tonight on USA Network beginning with the permanent earlier start time at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-We are looking for correspondents for the WWE Raw and WWE Smackdown tapings. If you are going tonight to Raw in Cincy or to Tuesday's taping in Indianapolis, Indiana and want to help, contact me right away at dotnetjason@gmail.com.

-Triple H is advertised on the WWE website and the arena website for tonight's show. It's possible he will take part in a dark segment as he does at the Smackdown tapings every week, but it wouldn't be surprising if he appears on the actual television show to hype his SummerSlam match with Brock Lesnar. By the way, Lesnar is not advertised for tonight's show.

-A.J. will make her debut as the new general manager of Raw. It will be interesting to see whether that plays in with C.M. Punk's apparent heel turn last week. Obviously, it will be very interesting to see what Punk has to say about his actions last week. Will he be an all out heel? Is this a slow developing heel turn? Will Punk play a tweener role?

-Dot Net Members will be listening to my audio review of WWE Raw later tonight. Join us on the ad-free version of the website and listen to well over five hours of exclusive audio content each week. Sign up now via Prowrestling.net/amember/signup.php.

-The dark main event of tonight's WWE Raw show is listed as John Cena vs. Big Show and John Laurinaitis in a handicap match.

-ROH wrestler Nick Jackson (a/k/a Nick Massie) celebrated his 23rd birthday on Saturday. He was born on July 28, 1989. Jackson teams with his brother Matt Jackson as The Young Bucks, and they also wrestled as Generation Me in TNA.

-The late Lou Albano was born on July 29, 1933. He died in his sleep on October 14, 2009 due to a heart attack. Albano was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.

-In case you missed it on Sunday, Scott Steiner celebrated his 50th birthday. He was born on July 29, 1962.

-There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic tonight. The AWA television show will return on Tuesday. We'll have the advertised lineup in Tuesday's Dot Net Daily.
